wednesday, a sad day

 

started the day knitting a few more row
just to find out, i made a mistake … and couldnt find out what or wehre or why, it must be in the chart somewhere
so - unpicking it all 13 rows :( :( now i am really annoyed and frustrated, because i have nooo clue where i went wrong
expect a few days - or more - to pass before i can knit on here

so i sat down and knitted more squares and finished the 4th batt of merino silk mix, its now all ready to be spun

then the first try to card the big pile of grey wool, and this works fantastic, i really like how it looks so far
and before bedtime, i spun a tiny tiny bit :D

a sunny thuesday

 

i was in the beergarden in the afternoon, so i didnt knit as much as i could have
but, i managed the 1st cm of the body :D
started row 9
and made 2 more batts, 1 to go, this will be done on wednesday

rainy monday

 

i made the spikes for the arms or my yellow top, and started the body round,
this made my brain smoke, so i blocked the spikes, and knitted a bit more of my shawl, 8th row started

and then i was bored enough of all my going projects, i dragged down my drumcarder
and my 100 g black merino, and 100 g black merino/mulberrysilk mix, and started to blend them together
why you ask, well i got some blue bats in the same mix, and i got a shawl in mind, which i gonna do with this

sunday

 

yesterday i finished the top part of my summer tank top
the next few days will be spent to knit the little arm accents, and then 40 or 50 cm of body … this will be sooo boring

then i played with my box of wool - made a sample strand of each for a friend
braided them all, and spun a tiny little 4ply sample - maybe you can see it on the gray pack in the foto ?
its just enough to feel if i want to cuddle or not :D

and i started the 7th row of my shawl

saturday

 

saturday was rainy and grey in grey :(
but my parcelman brought me 2,4 kilos of wool !
100 gram each, of 22 diffrent fibers (and 200 gram black for a future projekt)
then i knit an other 10 rows, just 10 to go, i count the stitches by now
and i filled the 3rd bobbin, just 1 to go - then i can ply them :)
