10th of april

 

i slept long, then we went for the weekly shopping, and then it was evening again
so i just knitted a few rows
and then i spent the night sorting my fiber stash
sorting a corner and under the table, so its now nearly free of random "stuff i need"

but now my wool stash is freshly sorted, i know again what i got
i refreshed all of the neem tissues
cleaned a cubbord, reorganised it, and have a nice start for sorting through the rest of the cubbords *lol*
but … as i spent the night doing it,  i will go to sleep before i go on :D

9th of april

 

sun was shining again, so i did some of the dirt work outside
flicking some of the alpaka i still got in a box, it has loads of sand in it, so it has to be done outside
you see here 2 of my selfmade bags, and you see 2 sections each
but each bag got 6 sections, and fits perfectly on my dry stand
then i opend up the rest of the gothland locks, 220 grams are a LOT of locks *lol*

and i knitted some more :)

8th of april

 

yesterday the sun was shining, and so i was sitting outside for some time
knitted a lot - i reached now the first half of the body part

then those locks i dyed the day before where screaming for me
so i digged out the other locks, the gothland, and started to fluffing them apart
the bugger are really sticking together, and are slightly felted, so it took a few hours for just a small part

and tried the first bit to spin
i need to get the twist under controll, i add to much - far to much twist

april the 7th

 

i played a bit on the pc ( a long bit actually)
then i dived into my locks - click on more to see my treasures
digged out my white wenslaydale locks, digged a bit more for the kool aid i got a few weeks back
and gave it a try
my camera HATES HATES HATES all with the slightest bit of red in it … so its impossible to show the real colours ! :(

then i combed a few balls of wool and knitted half a repeat while watching tv

and then some spinning
this time some black alpaka, i am not sure if it is now or if it isnt baby alpaka quality …
and its not a lot - just 59 gram - divided onto 4 bobbins - makes it 15 grams each
and i spun 2 :D
no sleep again

6th of april

 

yesterday i went to bed early, as i had no sleep the night before
and did just some combing and rolled the now dry skein of my angora

5th of april

 

i spun all 3 bobbins of my angora bunny fluff
and i didnt sleep
so i even plyed them, and washed it
411 meter, 92 gram of fantastic soft 3 ply angora bunny :D :D :D

and i also knitted and knitted and KNITTED a lot yesterday, i am a good bit into the body section, and finished the first 100 gram of my selfspun yarn

4th april

 

yesterday i got up late and back to bed early
and did just a bit of knitting
and again i "found" a mistake in the chart … so unpicking again about half of what i knitted
