Spinning - blue Merino blend = Caribian sea

i had a cupple rovings in shades of blue and aqua and turquoise, so i made some rolags with my handcarders
first … some for testing …  and test spinning and test knitting

an  other 100 grams out of the lovely fiber box

bluefaced leicester ! spun it up, and then plyed it with some storebought fine and thin merino

Spinning - Eiderwool

 

ordered me some nice wool in 100 gram bags,

and started off with the Eider Wolle … this comes from the Eiderschaf, thats a breed living at the Eider

its a rather rough and coarse wool, but was nice to get it spun

but first i seperated and predrafted it a bit … i LOVE how wool looks when its like that

sadly its to rough and scratchy near the skin, so now i have a 100 gram ball in my secret wool stash *laughs+
